Internet is back, thanks goodness

Since there's some interruption (fire broke out) from Singtel exchange at Bukit Panjang area, it is a good time to get away from internet if you are a Singnet user.

Dump your work or internet aside and enjoy the family bonding time. How many times can all of us enjoy the time without internet? Even for the parents, it is hard not to hold onto your mobile/ tablet for surfing or work, let alone the kids.

So what did you do during this internet down time? Apparently, hubby is unable to play with the 2 C's because he is doing a town house photo shoot for a developer! So wifey will take charge by getting the kids back from school via cab, and let them relax after school - TV.

Well, yeah. Cait is still too engrossed to the TV - favourite channel - Nick Jr from MIO.

And these are her favorite shows till date (hubby know its all, because he is monitoring her closely, as to understand the purpose of its show)

Little Bill - a boy with full of imagination, learn everything during his growing up days

Ni Hao Kai Lan - more on EQ, know about Kai Lan's friend feeling. It is a mixed English and Chinese talking. Good for kids that want to learn.

Team Umizoomi - learning some math, shapes and patterns to pass stage after stage to get mission accomplish

Dora - it is almost the same as Team Umizoomi, just that Dora also teaches you some Spanish too

Max & Ruby - Max who is the naughty one, who always been corrected by Ruby with lots of patience. A good thing to learn for being patience

Cait can watch it over and over without getting tired. Recently, she had been forced to say out the answer when the show is asking what to do next. This is to ensure she is watching with understanding, not blindly.

But, she must be discipline not to watch too long.

Jiak Tok

This entry is almost forgotten, hence posting it right now. Jiak Tok is one of the common practice for most Chinese, especially to deity or during hungry ghost month. What is the main purpose for it? Basically, raise fund. Currently, the temple The Ongies often go, is still new and undergoing some renovations, that's where the devotees will come and chip in. Back then, Cait was just few months old when she first attend to such occasion. Now, Clar turn. During the period of bidding and consuming of food, both princesses are quite cooperative and did not fuss a lot until later on. Partly due to heat and noise. But it is a good experience for them. Praying to Tai Sui

It's the period of praying to Tai Sui now during Chinese New Year. Almost all Chinese will head up to temple to get blessing from Tai Sui . For those zodiac sign that crash with the year of Tai Sui must pray for smooth year. Every year, there will be 4 zodiac signs that crash with Year of Tai Sui . Chong is worse than Fan.  It is better to pray to Tai Sui every year; at least you get bless. When praying to Tai Sui , you must not forget to return thanks back before end of year; which is before Christmas Day,  after Dong Zhi .
