Let's continue the trip blog after the delicious food at Tin Ho Wan, 添好運點心專門店!

If you really feel like eating the dim sum, and unable to go to Hong Kon; no worries.. they are opening in Singapore real soon.

Hubby can't wait to try that out! But hoping the standard remain the same as like in Hong Kong.

The next itinerary: The Peak

This is the first time hubby and wifey will be going up The Peak during noon time. The scenery will be as beautiful as night time. The only differences will be the lights from the building and visibility of the Hong Kong island.

In order to get to The Peak, you can travel via MTR all the way to Central or Admiralty station via foot. Read more information via link given.

To make thing even more exciting for this trip, wifey requested to travel via Star Ferry to HK island from Kowloon.

From Sham Shui Po MTR station all the way to Tim Sha Tsui MTR station.
(Exit L6, walk to clock tower along Salisbury road)

The route is pretty simple to go because it is via underway all the way.

As image shown below, this is where they came out from, a gradual slope up, where you will see the old fire truck on your left when walking up.

A quick shot before moving on to the ferry terminal.

Just follow the pavement along the road, you will be led to the ferry terminal. Definitely, you will not get lost, it is quite easy to locate it.

Once you are in the terminal, head up to the area where you want to go: Hong Kong island.

The waiting time is pretty short, so do not worry even if you miss the ride.

If you have the octopus card, use it! They accept it anyway!

The girls are excited when they board the boat. Hubby and dad had the chance to take such a boat once again. Back then, years ago, they traveled to Kusu Island using such a boat, which is very crowded and slow. Can you imagine that?

But for this ride, the entire cabin is quite empty, lots of seat for you to choose. Partly it is low peak period, so there are not a lot of people, just the tourists. This is very important, it is better to avoid peak period when all the people are rushing to work.

When you disembarked from the boat, head out to the road and turn left if you wanted to take the bus to the peak tram station.

It will be a long walk if you choose not to take the bus, alternatively, you can also take the bus up as well. To enjoy the fullness, they chose tram instead.

It is not getting any colder during noon time, so everyone was feeling hot, but not perspiring yet.

The bus trip from the ferry to the peak tram station is approximately 12min.

Once you alight from the bus, head down and queue up for the tram. The Ongies got a shock when they saw lots of tourists as well! The wait is about 30min from the start till they board the tram. No doubt there are a lot of people, everything is still quite smooth.

They even have the family photos shot too!

As hubby is always the one who been taking photos for everyone, they decided to take a shot and buy them instead. memory...

They were pretty lucky when they queue up. Hubby was right in front of the door when the tram arrived. When the door opened, hubby quickly went in and allow the rest to follow him in and get the seats together. It is important to ensure the kids are with you at all times.

The Peak is a nice place to go. All thanks to wifey, she even bought the ticket up to the viewing terrace at HKD 75 for adult and HKD 36 for kids.

Getting to the top is marvelous, especially with the cold air. Hubby missed the day they went to Peak (not to viewing terrace) at night, and it was so cold and windy too!

No doubt it is noon when they got there, but it is not so hot as compared at the bottom of the hill.

Enjoy the panoramic view when you are at the top, you can see the Cheung Chau Island, Lamma Island and Lantau Island as well. It is good to breathe in fresh air; feeling so much freedom as well.

The total time spent is less than just 20min. As everyone is getting hungry, they decided to have their late lunch in the building, a Chinese restaurant.

Hubby was hoping for a Mac, but fearing that his dad might not be able to enjoy.

The food at the restaurant is not cheap, and not that nice. Mom does not really enjoy her noodle soup as compared to the first Cha Chang Ting they went to.

As the kids are very hungry, they finished up the food very fast without lots of supervision.

Cait really love the instant noodle!

After filling up the tummy, they went to the pavilion for a short walk. This is the area where hubby and wifey did not came by. It was very dark when they first came here.

The parents enjoy the scenery, the air and the atmosphere. They must be wondering, why are there mountains all over? It is so different from Singapore.

Once again, another mission accomplished! Glad everyone really enjoy the trip up to the peak, and now, it is time to head down!

While queuing up, Cait was complaining about her tummy pain! Goodness, she did not poo as it is just the cold air in the tummy.

Return trip down is a lot shorter when queuing up. Once again, they are the first in line to get up on the tram.

Timing was 5pm,; peak period is about to start. Getting to causeway bay might give them a lot of headache.

Either by cab or by bus.

They never knew that the cab driver charge by off meter payment. They decided to hop on the 2nd cab when they negotiate for pricing. When the first cab driver decided to lower his price even more, The Ongies rejected.

Partly due to his attitude when they first ask the cost, ridiculous pricing.

Getting from Peak terminal to causeway bay is about 15min drive. As there's restricted zone for cab driver allow to alight the passenger, the generous kind cab driver told them how to get to the place they wanted to go.

All wifey knew is to go to the soya bean stall when they first came here with a friend. Once they located Sogo, they walked round and round to find the shop! It was directly opposite the MTR lift station.

They decided to packet back to hotel to eat because mom and dad does not want to eat at all. Even if they went in together, the stall holder have the rights to charge them accordingly. It is wrong to sit in there without buying anything.

3-4-2013 (2)

After a Sogo trip, they end up with bags of wife biscuit and a new stroller for Cait. They had to buy one because the girls had been fighting non stop over it. No one willing to let go! Luckily Clar do not mind sitting on the old stroller.

It is about 7pm when they left Causeway Bay. Their next stop is TST, to view the Star of Avenue!

The walk is not long from TST station. Just follow the signboard throughout, you will not get lost at all.

It was extremely cold when they got up and head to the location they wanted to. Despite there are some hiccup during the walk, they managed to get their path on the right spot.

The kids had to wear thick clothing because of the cold wind, and hubby was nothing but with a shirt, bermuda, and a show.

The girls are excited over the air and the lights shown. The lighting showcase will last for 30min, but they did not stay throughout, because Cait requested to go home!

So in the end, they decided to head back to the hotel for a good rest!

After the kids KO, it is time to get some dinner! Wifey love the food and drinks they bought nearby. You are totally spoil for choices!

Wifey was very happy that she finally get to drink from Xu Liu Shan! That is one of the priority they must conquered when they first saw the stall so near by!

Everyone dig in quickly, and decided to rest later on.

It is going to be an enjoying day! They will be moving out from Benito Hotel room and check in to Hotel Hollywood at Disneyland soon!
