Jiak Tok is one of the common practice for most Chinese, especially to deity or during hungry ghost month.
What is the main purpose for it?
Basically, raise fund. Currently, the temple The Ongies often go, is still new and undergoing some renovations, that's where the devotees will come and chip in.
Back then, Cait was just few months old when she first attend to such occasion. Now, Clar turn.
During the period of bidding and consuming of food, both princesses are quite cooperative and did not fuss a lot until later on. Partly due to heat and noise.
But it is a good experience for them.
