Cait Birthday Celebration in School

It's not going to be as huge as like last year when celebrating Cait's 1st Birthday at Pasir Ris Chalet. Many thanks to those who make it despite the long journey in.

This year, however, clash with wifey confinement period, they decided to do a small scale until they realise that celebrating in school will be a better! Almost all kids at My First Skool celebrate their birthday day! It is enjoyable and of course, happier for Cait.

One day, mom suddenly found out that Cait lunar birthday actually falls on the same day of Claryne full month celebration! Let's call for double celebration! They were so happy that they can host the singing session with Cait again!

Invites had been sent out and hope that all of them can make it on 9th April, Saturday. (This coming Saturday, to be exact)

Teachers in school love the feeling of celebrating anyone birthday because it live up everyone morale!

Cait is super happy that day and she managed to learn what is sharing and giving goodies bag to her teachers and friends.

Friends of her gotten the goodies bag were excited too! It is fun and happy to see all the kids love the day so much at childcare center.
After leaving the area, Cait cried non stop! In fact, that is a fake cry from her! Doesn't seem that she wanna stay on in school tho.

Even her teacher also tricked her by saying, where is her bag for bathing?! Oh dear, Cait is looking lost because she is busy looking for it!

Jiak Tok

This entry is almost forgotten, hence posting it right now. Jiak Tok is one of the common practice for most Chinese, especially to deity or during hungry ghost month. What is the main purpose for it? Basically, raise fund. Currently, the temple The Ongies often go, is still new and undergoing some renovations, that's where the devotees will come and chip in. Back then, Cait was just few months old when she first attend to such occasion. Now, Clar turn. During the period of bidding and consuming of food, both princesses are quite cooperative and did not fuss a lot until later on. Partly due to heat and noise. But it is a good experience for them. Praying to Tai Sui

It's the period of praying to Tai Sui now during Chinese New Year. Almost all Chinese will head up to temple to get blessing from Tai Sui . For those zodiac sign that crash with the year of Tai Sui must pray for smooth year. Every year, there will be 4 zodiac signs that crash with Year of Tai Sui . Chong is worse than Fan.  It is better to pray to Tai Sui every year; at least you get bless. When praying to Tai Sui , you must not forget to return thanks back before end of year; which is before Christmas Day,  after Dong Zhi . Cait and Clar will get bless as well, same goes to rest of the family. The usual place they often went is at Paya Lebar, Gu Cai Ba Temple (Sheng Hong Gong).
